About the director:
Rodrigo Sorogoyen, a Spanish director and screenwriter born in 1981 in Madrid, Spain. He graduated from the screenwriter after which he began his career as a writer on television series. In 2008 he started his filmography by writing and directing the romantic comedy "8 itas" together with Peris Roman. After that, besides writing scenarios, he continued to work as a TV series director and, with three partners, founded the production house Caballo Films. His first solo feature film, "Stockholm", was released in 2013, which was well-received by critics and won several awards, including three Biznage at Malaga Film Festival, three medals from the Screenwriters' Association, Feroz's Best Film Award for 2013 and Goy For Best New Director of 2014. His work continues with the film "May God Save Us" (2016), which receives Goy for Best Actress and the screenplay wins the award at the San Sebastian International Film Festival. She continues her work on the short film "Madre" (2017) and begins her work on the new movie "El Reino".
